My application was received on Dec 7, 2018 and I’m stuck at background check (like alot of us here). I have gone through a lawyer and they have access to the website, not me. One of my friends applied around the same and he received an email back in March (which he missed) to submit his passport. His status is also stuck at background check. I haven’t received any such email and I’m freaking out. Did anyone else have to send their passports before getting the golden email?

The "golden email" is the email that asks for your passport. My understanding is that your status will not be updated until you send in that passport.
If you still feel unsure, call 1-800-242-2100, choose 2-2-2-4-0 to speak to an agent. You can then verify with them directly.

Got two ADRs... what the heck... one is related to submit updated POF and another one is Schedule A... any idea how much time they generally take to process ADRs????

How many days do they allow you?
If 7, it's a good sign that they want to complete your application rather sooner than later

Yes they gave me 7 days...and it was also mentioned " to finalize your application" .. so i guess this would be last step

Yup congrats! I got that last week too, submitted on the same day and they took about a week to complete it

Yup congrats! I got that last week too, submitted on the same day and they took about a week to complete it

Is ur security cleared?

My application status is still IP1 means background check not started yet. but I don't know about criminality, security because my application is filed by consultant. So I can't even check my account daily
