@Immigration_guru Thanks for all your help. Got my passport back yesterday from Consulate (processing time - 20 days) with a single entry visa for 2 months (that is when my medicals expire). I have a question if you could please answer. Can I move permanently to Canada with all my stuff without doing soft landing initially and coming back later?

Yes, you can move into CA in one short w/o doing soft landing at all. That's how lot of people do if coming non-bordered countries.
But, do prepare a list that lists all the stuff if you are intending to bring with you (along with their values declared).

Congratulations
Yes, once you have your PR Card you can travel and come back anytime.
If you travel without a PR card, then either assign someone to receive it on your behalf and get it for you to US or you have to apply for PRTD

I think you got me wrong or my question wasn't clear. Initially, I was thinking of doing soft landing and come back to US and relocate back to Canada next year. But, I am now thinking to move permanently to Canada through soft landing without the plan of coming back to US. Is that possible?

That's good to know. I don't have much stuff with me except my car and some electronics. But, I was trying to figure out the options for importing my car and I couldn't find much information on it for my car's make and model either in this forum or online.

You can goto RIV (https://www.riv.ca/ImportingAVehicle.aspx), check your car for admissibility and if any modification needed to make it admissible

Thank you! I've already checked this. I have an Acura and there is no option for either Acura US or just Acura in that list. And, I couldn't find any information either online or on this forum for Acura owners. So, wondering what would be my options.

What is the specific model of Acura you have and what year?

@Immigration_guru , @legalfalcon The CBSA page says that Immigration services are available 7 days a week. Does that mean I can do cross the border from US with my CoPR any day of the week between 7:00 to 22:00?

Services
Highway
Rail
Note: Immigration services are only available from 07:00 to 22:00 7 days a week.

If the border cross you want to use is open 24 x 7, you can get your immigration landing done there anytime.

There is nothing as soft landing. soft landing is a misnomer, that refers to new immigrants entering Canada on a PR visa, and leaving, and then later returning to settle indefinitely.

Once you enter Canada on a PR visa, and you are admitted, you are a landed immigrant, irrespective of how long or short you stay.

Well, it is open 24 hrs but it's specifically mentioned that Immigration Services are available only from 7:00 to 22:00 every day. So, wondering if I should be going in between that time.
