Canadian work permit from Doha Qatar ??

Greetings from Doha Qatar

DId anyone applied before to a Canadian work permit from Doha Qatar ??
how long take as the real process since you give the fingerprint ??
I mean out of what the website gives as processing time.

Did anyone make the embassy interview or VFS interview?

Hi,

I applied online work permit on 19-Feb-2019, from Consultant in Canada via Canadian Embassy in UAE.
Biometrics done on 24-Feb-2019 from Qatar , That time the processing time was 19 weeks from Qatar.
Now its showing 22 weeks, I am about to cross 16 weeks still no any updates e.g Medical request etc, I submited all the relavant documents which supports to application except medical was not the required one at the time of submission.

Can some one guide its positive sign or negative for the visa

I am little worried, perhaps waiting is the worse thing in the world

Can I know with which consultant you are processing if you don’t mind of course .
Do live in Doha same as me?
When did you receive the last update and what was the update ??!!

I have applied to work permit to Canada online about 3 weeks ago
am jordainian but in the option of place of application I put that I am applying from doha
is there is any difference between paper and online application regarding the processing time (

HI,

No there is no difference, in fact if you apply paper then you need to link your application to check the status online.

Time processing of application of any region is depends on the number of application they receive.

still waiting for an update from my consultant, till now the processing time showing for Qatar 22 weeks but maybe more maybe less.
I wish that we get the golden call very soon for everyone & please keep us updated regarding the case.

I do not have any update yet, though my app is on 18 weeks as of now.
You should be getting decision before me as you applied on jan I would say.

Yes you r right but those who apply from UAE also did not get their results, I have checked in different forum that many candidates r already passed the processing time. I heard from agent that as per the last year most WP candidate got their decision either in july or oct, but this is not sure same in this year.

hope for the positive outcomes for all.

some of my friends are in Dubai still not yet got any updates on their applications.
please can you explain to me about what your agent said ( i mean that he said all applications of the last year get treated on July till October of the same year ??)
that's mean all our applications maybe get treated in the same way!!??

I think the delay just because its the only place where all applications of the middle east being treated, also I'm afraid about the summer vacation of the staff.
and also this delay in the process it will affect the waiting of our employers.

Agent told that most of the results received on july and October last year but not all and this year might be not the same case, this is their perception but not sure.
