No you will no get confirmation that they got your application in the mail. It has only been 2 days and it is the weekend so the government offices are closed.

Thanks for your reply. I was reading the other posts, they said they received email like "Application received" (Date), "Processing started" (Date) so Im wondering when do I get an email like that?

Hi everyone,

I applied for PR renewal through mail. I sent it via express post last monday june 17th and upon checking the tracking number, package is delivered thursday June 20 10:22 am. Should I expect an email that they receive my application? How long should I wait? How soon did you receive an email from them after package is delivered? It's already saturday and I haven't heard from them, no email, nothing. Thanks

I mailed mine june 13th tracking showed it was delivered the 17th. I was able to check on ecas the 20th and it says processing.

my application for the PR card renewal says: received on 3rd december 2018, started processing on 3rd december. and it still shows the same thing. the call center has no answer they say it is at local office for review. i am not sure what to do. My previous card has expired though

23 days is nothing. Confused as to how you are renewing if in 2017 you were on a work permit.

After pr We decided to add our surname ..
So that it should be called and write as
Lastname,firstname instead of first name , lastname twice..

Hello everyone, has ecas updated for anyone since thursday? Decision has been made for me since thursday and it still shows "We started processing your application on June 19, 2019.".

My timeline below. Fingers crossed card arrives next week. The reason for card renewal: name change outside Canada.

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 29, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 6, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on June 6, 2019.
4. Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on June 13, 2019. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at a CIC office.
5. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on June 14, 2019.

it was pretty quick this is how my time line looked like:

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 13, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 19, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on June 19, 2019.

and I got decision made on Thursday, June 20.

I made a copy of mine to send it with the application and i miss placed it. Now i am without a PR

Hi, how do you see this info? And how long did it take to receive this info after sending your package through mail? I sent my renewal application last week and I have not received any email like this. Now im not sure if they got mine or what.

it takes about almost a week and you can see it from the ecas website.
