Yes but tjus is based on group average some cases might be shorter or longer depending on circumstances. Also as historical trend shows KVO slows the family category in the summer months to focus on other visas such as student and visitors. Hopefully that does not have a big impact on those still processing .

Clarification please. When you say 6 to 8 weeks are we talking about from the date ECAS says they started processing your application?

Thanks for sharing your timeline. I love seeing Jamaicans complete the process. Gives the rest of us a little more hope and strength to get through this. Congrats!

Fingers crossed the rest of us hear something before July. If I don’t I’m preparing myself to wait through summer. How’s everyone else doing? Anyone get requests for additional docs or anything?

Congrats! this does give me so much hope, I am still gathering as much documents as possible, hubby visiting on the 21st of June for 3weeks. We will complete and send off the application before he returns to work in July.

Yeah, for student and visitor visas probably. My hubbys police clearance is valid until september. At this point im sure hes going to need to get another one.
I find it hard to believe they would ask for another one though, that wouldn't make sense. They would just work with what they have I assume.

I hope so because my husband police clearance expire the end of Aug. I really hope they don't ask for another one
