Conducting a draw is a feature of cic system and can only be performed when system is up, not down!
If someone says that to conduct a draw , whole system must be brought down then it is like below:

You are driving a car, now u need to switch gear, and somebody says, oh to switch gear u need to stop the car engine first

Why do you think there was no maintenance notice ?

Don't stress too much on maintenance notice for now.

Draw will happen tomorrow with 14 days regular interval. It's time to focus on tomorrow's draw rather than release notes. Good luck!!

One quick query. Is it possible to get PCC issued twice within a span of 6 months (say in 4 months or so)?
Going by the current trend in scores, it's difficult to figure out when the cut off will go down to 448. I am the primary applicant and my spouse will be in India for around 4 months and then will have to leave India again. So we're thinking of getting PCC done at the start of the 4 month duration and then one again at the end of those 4 months if we don't receive the ITA by that time. (so that it doesn't expire when actually required)
Does anybody have an idea about this?

Once PCC is issued, it's valid for 6 months. You won't be able to apply for PCC if your 6 months are not completed.

Thanks. Yeah I'm aware the validity is 6 months but my case is a little different and I'm not sure how to contact the PSK with this query. They don't respond to phone calls and email as it is. So I was hoping I could get some info here.
