On ECAS we did not get any information about passed. It only shows if its received. If your medicals has been received, it will update saying that "Medicals received." In our case, we did not get any email or even ECAS was not updated regarding application moving from one office to another.

It said, we started processing your application(spouse) on June 11th.

Just wanna confirm whether it says on PA Column in ECAS that “we started Processing your App” as it says on sponsors column in ECAS

Thanks @swan0206. So if I understand correctly, ECAS is not updated if application is moved from Sydney to visa office (either Mississauga or local visa office).
Secondly, “we started processing your application” means they started background check?

Well now I know why we've been waiting for so long. Our application was returned to us today and we mixed up Principle Applicant vs. Sponsor name on the 1st page of the Form 1344. Such a silly mistake but you go cross-eyes looking at these things!

Question is: If this is all they listed as the reason it was rejected, is it safe to assume they reviewed everything else? In other words, do they just stop and list the first error they find or do they list out all errors that they find?

So my application was return like I expected, I was missing a signature and I forgot part one of the representative form so see you all and good luck I will be resending my application tomorrow. Didn't see any updated form so it will be right back in the process

Best to go through the whole package again and maybe have another eye look through everything. My sister was in this position and she got her application sent back twice, both different reasons but I myself found a whole wack of stuff she did wrong but those things were not highlighted on the list.

Hey,
I have a question. My file also returned because of the missing documentation. My question is they sent me a letter which has my( Sponsor) UCI number and also has an application number. Do I have to fill that application number in IMM 5669- Schedule A Background Declaration form Question no 2 which ask for Application number? Did you guys fill that information while reapplying? Please reply because I am almost ready to apply.

The document check list, IMM 1344,IMM 5406 has been changed, make sure you look at other forms as well.
