It is the same if you apply through a consultant or yourself. You will just be wasting money. It may be a bit faster but why do that when it is so easy to apply!

He thinks to get a consultant will make the process fast and good result..

Doesn’t make it faster or influence the results but some feel that the paperwork is overwhelming. It is up to you. Some consultants charge fees that are way to high for what they are actually doing in my opinion.

We just don’t know anything about it‍♀️
If you don't know and are overwhelmed, then it's better to go with a consultant. However, the outcome will not be affected by this. You can still be denied and there could still be something wrong with the application as a lot of consultants out there only pretend to be knowledgeable and want to take your money even if they can see the application might not be successful. It's their business, so be careful that you choose the right person.

Is your relationship complicated, with red flags ? If no and it's just a straight forward application, I'll advise you apply your self. Minimium $$ I have seen from an immigration consultant is $3000.
If you are a straight forward couple (no ex, no previous marriage , no wide age gape etc. ) just apply your self.

If not get ready to spend atleast $2500.
Also depending on your city , there are loads of good consultants out there. Where are you located?
I see you are naija. The forms are pretty easy and straight forward.

Campbell Cohen. They are the ones who run this forum.

Consultants are not invested in your success and some are not thorough. Its a risk you take and applying through them is no more a guarantee of success than applying for yourself. If you have patience you can do this. I mean the consultant may fill the forms out but you still have to produce the documents to support your application so it doesn't remove you from the process totally.

If you have the extra money then why not use a qualified immigration consultant.
The trick is to find a qualified one.
Hopefully their experience can help alleviate your concerns with good advice and will keep you informed.
There's no guarantee and they will not make your application go faster.

If not complicated then do it yourself. Follow the guide carefully.
You can save some money and the risks will be the same.
Are you up to it?

I am thinking of getting my application for common-law spousal sponsorship be checked over by a lawyer before I send it. Will do all the work, but just need to get them to check it as it is a big deal application. Mind you saying that I applied for study and PGWP myself.
