Can we guys get married and declare as a spouse or just we can only declare as a common law . We are thinking to get married.

Same here is it important to declare common law or we can just get married and apply because me and my partner are living from last 1.5 years and her process for pr application is under processing?

Your partner is legally required to declare and include you in her app.

My question was she can only declare me as common law or we can get married now and declare as a spouse? I’m confused between two options. And what’s difference between these two relation

If you marry, she must declare you as her spouse. If you don't marry, she must declare you as her common-law partner. What is confusing?

Like when we send our documents to cic as a spouse they will reject that didn’t we applied as a common law because we were common law before and now we are recently married

As long as you are added before your partner's landing, it's fine.

If we don’t have enough proof to prove common law relationship so is it good idea to just get married and apply?
