Good morning,

I am currently in the process of sponsoring my wife. We are providing letters to show our family and friends recognize it relationship.

Should these letters be written in their primary language and then translated, or can I write them on their behalf in English and have them sign?

Also should they be hand written or tired?

Thanks for your time

We got both our parents and siblings to hand write letters in english. I think handwritten looks more authentic. I don't see any harm in having them translated other than the fact that it will cost you money.

Doesn't matter if they are handwritten or typed. They should do it themselves in English or in their own language. For any not in English, you can translate it yourself and include both the original and the translation.

Should the letters be notarized like an affidavit?
