Need the help of experts or anyone how has experienced :
I completed the process of immigration by landing in Toronto in January, 2018.
I stayed in Toronto for 5 weeks only and returned to my home country, Pakistan. Was planning on returning in a year, permanently.
I got married in April, 2018 so till now could not return to Canada.
Now, we are planning on shifting to Canada however, the spouse sponsorship process takes around 12 months or longer. We don’t want to be separated for that long.
My question is:
1. Can my wife apply for Express Entry Application, She has masters in Business Administration so she will mange the score, without having any impact on spouse sponsorship application if express entry application is not approved.
2. If express entry application is not approved, can we go for student visa or should we opt for student visa first
3. Will any of these two application have negative impact In future ie attaining citizenship of Canada.

I understand that it is important to inform IRCC of any changes of address while an application is being processed.. What about afterward... When the residency card was received ? Should the IRCC be informed of an addres change as well ??? If so, how should it be done ???

No. After receiving your PR card IRCC has nothing else to do with you. When the time for PR card update (or for citizenship) will come you will be asked about your address again. But keep in mind, you must inform many other organizations about your new address: CRA, Ministry of Transport (if you have driving license), car registration, provincial health insurance, banks, insurances...

This is your AOR (acknowledgement of receipt). Expect requests for Biometrics and Medical Record along with Sponsorship Approval (not in a chronological order) pretty soon. After that you can expect a long silence which will test your patience.

Hi thanks really appreciate..I have an email to inform me to pay for biometrics which i did ...but partner not had location or email to where the biometrics will be take place and when...want to ask when should I expect that..?

Once you've made the payment and submitted your receipt, you will receive instruction for biometrics in few days. Don't ask how many day as it can vary with no concrete timeline.

I'm a Canadian citizen from Quebec province and I'm living abroad. I want to sponsor my wife (Chinese citizen) and move my family to Canada. My two children have the Canadian Citizenship and are also considered Chinese citizen since they were both born in Beijing.

Question: It seems that in Quebec you need to show you have enough income to support your spouse and children. Are my children considered to be sponsored when calculating the income I need to have, even they are already Canadian citizens?

My friend's wife had visited my friend who is a Canadian PR last October for 2 weeks on a tourist visa citing below home country ties -

Co-owner of an apartment in India
Having a full-time job in India
Taking care of an elderly relative in India

She returned in November last year and is planning to apply for another TRV for 6 months to travel in August this year, she will cite the same home country ties, has already bought flight tickets (round trip), has a fresh invitation letter from her husband, has funds in non Canadian bank account for 6 months sustenance, please suggest whether she has any chances of rejection.

They are planning to stay together for 6 months in Canada, so as soon as she arrives in Canada, they will initiate the inland spousal sponsorship, will this raise any concern or conflict with her 2nd TRV if it is approved and issued to her?

Passport sent : May 22
Additional photos reqd: May 27
Photos sent : May 28

How long would it take for the passport with COPR to come back ? Tried calling CIC but no response.

Please help.

Is the AOR date generally received within 6 months from the date of submission?
