My take is "Sponsorship Application"
His Sponsorship application has been approved and now case is transferred to local VO for the applicant.

Looks like CIC received a lot many applications after 1st May hence updates are now slow. All those who submitted in April and up-to May 02nd are having good updates.

Do you know exactly what date you were able to see the ecas status? Mine application received in Ottawa on May 14,I tried putting mine UCI,DOB n place of birth also tried my father's info but nothing showing

We have no ecas updates since the lot for May 06th so please wait. I believe the wait times have increased so we may not see any updates for next 2-3 weeks. Mine was received on 10th May and no ecas yet. Its frustrating but they have so many applications to look at and limited resources.

How do you know that your application was received? Just by tracking the courier? or you checked something online?

I checked with Canada Post as well as I called to CIC , They confirmed received the package and gave me Temporary file number start with X.
I still cannot check any thing on ECASE and Also I did not received any AOR

My Application Received on May1st but still no update .

Ours also reached Ottawa on 10 May and nothing yet on e-cas
