Status bar came in the profile.
Background check changed from NOT APPLICABLE to We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
and no medical update
And May 14, Application/Profile Updated no email...
We passed the medical exam..
May 16 RPRF request as an ADR and paid and submitted the fee receipt on May 18.... After 2 days ADR changed to Not Applicable...
I called CIC and they said that ELIGIBILITY met, MEDICAL, CRIMINAL baground check passed and completed
SECURITY check is need to be started and completed by some agency... application processing at Sydney, Nova Scotia....

Yesterday status changed to application/profile updated,but nothing changed..

Today morning PPR mail came ....

I think I got a ghost update this morning - I logged in to check the status of my application and it said "Application Updated". Nothing had changed, not even the background status. When I logged back in, it reverted back to "Submitted". I received no email notification of this either.

Not sure what this means though. Any idea?

I think you will get PPR soon. Perhaps tomorrow.

I hope so too but I don't think I will get PPR soon to be honest. I think this because when I had called IRCC on 17th May to check the status of my application, the person on the phone had mentioned that MEP was passed, my Criminality was still in progress and that Security and Eligibility had not even been started.

I doubt they would complete everything in a months time.

I think the update was for my file moving onto the next stage. I think I still have to wait many more days for PPR.

Does this sound right to you or am I being just too negative about it?

Hi Guys,

I got a landing interview email from @cic.gc.ca today. However, nothing has changed in my application.

Moreover, the message in the email says "We are pleased to inform you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview scheduled for..... at IRCC - Toronto (Etobicoke)".

Does this mean I skip the PPR email stage?
Will I get my COPR directly at the end of this interview?

Help?!

Congratulations!!!! It's a short, normal interview. Don't worry! I read that they do landing interviews for CEC, instead of sending PPRs..
