I'm tired of this. I don't really mind waiting but not having an estimate and not being given any update is disappointing. My eligibility has been passed since January and BG check hasn't started yet.
I'll have to accept a job I don't want because I don't know when I'll have to resign after receiving PPR because I have no idea when I'll receive mine. Could be tomorrow or in 3 months.

Even if they did give you a new estimated date it will again be useless.

I was given June 11, 2019 as my new estimate date back in February. So I was already aware I would go past 6 months. Then on May 9th the IRCC agent told me I should get a decision before June 11th since I am queue for final review

Based on your comments, I am anticipating that the 'new deadlines' are basically serving two purposes

1. Gives you hope
2. Allows them to wait a few days before sending the officer another reminder.

I doubt they really mean you will get a result by then. Like they mention in their automated phone recording these agents don't know anything more than what is available in the notes.

Even if they did give you a new estimated date it will again be useless.

I don't think it's NOCs, I think it's regions.

Not sure it's regions either. Some Brazilians got pprs in 90-110 days, others in 200+

On June 3rd, I was told again my application is in queue for final review by officer.

I'm sure when I call next on July 1st, I will be given the exact same status

That's what is worse. My application is pretty straightforward, my eligibility was met early and I don't have anything difficult to check in BG check but it's still 'in queue'. Do you think I should mail the VO?

True that ... I was told my wp is in progress while i already have it my hand ... It's only to calm ourselves down that these calls will help. People like me who are more clueless after a call with ircc can't be helped ...the agent was not sure where my file was... Either in Edmonton or in Vancouver...

Main thing is whether it is assigned to an officer or still waiting in the common pool to be picked by an officer.

Check second page at bottom. Application Assignment. This will show either a code of the visa office or some visa officer.

Same here. Nothing raises flag for my BG check but still waiting.

I don't care when they send PPR anymore I just want to know what the bloody hell were they doing with my case since May 9th.
