It is so stressful,Any April 2018 applicants done with the test and still waiting for oath?
call IRCC & ask, where is your file now? because I am living in Scarborough & I did my test & interview at Scarborough office, but I took my Oath at Mississauga office. so call & ask , if your file is in Mississauga office you have to wait... because too much backlog at Mississauga office.May 2018 Applicant
· Already passed one year from date of application submission
· Since last 9 months –status is showing decision made
· Called IRCC - few months ago they said there is no issue with your application your local office will invite for oath soon
· Sent couple of web form – No response
I know some friend they applied 4-5 months after me already completed oath from Scarborough office same as mine. I don’t understand how they process and prioritize the oath invitation – no clue at all
I lost my patience and stressed - Friends please provide your suggestions is there any solution at this point
As I know, you can't use different name in your Citizenship application other than name appears in PR / Landing Paper/ Birth Certificate / Marriage certificate.Hi, I am PR now and applying citizenship next month (July 2019).
I dont have last name(surname) in PR. Instead First and last name together as first name (given name).
Eg. First (Given) Name is MARK JOHN SMITH. Last name(surname) :---------
In the above example, want to make First (given) name: MARK JOHN and Last name (surname): SMITH
Is it possible during citizenship application ? without legal documents?
Anybody have experience?
You need some proof like Driver's license and passport with the updated name. The instruction guide mentions the kind of proofs that would be accepted. The change does not have to be a full name change but rather something that shows name change.Hi, I am PR now and applying citizenship next month (July 2019).
