Thanks for your reply arun.
Yes, I live in India. How am I supposed to show our 2nd year fees since my program is a 2 years? That won't be a problem?
You have to pay your first year fees and get a receipt from your collage which should be uploaded with your application.
You don't have to pay your 2nd year fees at this time for SDS.
Let me say about the GIC process because it would be helpful for you.
1. CIBC is one of the best Canadian banks to get GIC from India.
2. Need to pay less as compared to scotia bank i.e. if u pay in CAD 150 extra
3. U will get extra 25$ if u enter "
y.arun2001@gmail.com" in the referral box.
Process:
1. Go to
isbo.cibc.com
2. Select ur country.
3. Select payment currency will recommend INR for Indians. Because u not need to pay extra 150$.
4. Then enter ur details in next page and upload ur offer letter "here u need to select referral program and enter my email
y.arun2001@gmail.com and u will get $25 extra with $2000 upon account activation in Canada".
5. Within 2 days u will get details in which u will pay GIC.
6. Details will be of 4 pages, each and every step will be mentioned there. (as I selected INR, that's why on details there was mentioned the amount, beneficiary account standard charter bank Mumbai in my case)
7. Bring details pages to the bank and pay it by the instructions given to you to the mentioned account.
8. There will be A2 form with details which would be attached in the instruction mail which you have got which u need to fill up by yourself through the receipt of your bank transaction and some personal information like your PAN Number onto it and mail it to the mentioned email address as per the given instructions by CIBC.
9. Within 2 days u will get the email of your GIC conformation. (Note: it would take 6 working days and 2 weekends if you opt of Scotia bank and you need to pay some excess charges but CIBC does not get such charges and CIBC is a good choice.
Feel free to ask me any of your doubts.
