I have received a PT from Ontario, and I am considering applying to them. However, a friend of mine who is presently in Ontario advised me not to apply, his reason is that my application would get rejected, and I would lose the 150 CAD, because my occupation is not on-demand in Ontario. He said OINP issues nominations to only IT jobs/NOCS.

My occupation is actually in banking,
114 - Other financial officers NOC, I thought Ontario PT normally send out IVs as per NOCS, why should they be rejecting applications from non IT jobs.

Please how true is this?
I need responses please, the end of 45 days they gave me to apply is fast approaching.
