it changed from process to progress.... someone just deleted his/her comment on post .... they said yes i assumed it right they actually started my background checks

I had actually replied thinking you meant from ‘your application is in process, we’ll let you know...’ to ‘we are processing your background check’ but then saw what you mentioned which is ‘you’re background check is in progress’ which I have not seen and know about. Hence the deletion.

alright ... i don't think so any such statement as " we are 'not' processing your background check " is ever mentioned in gckey account.....

the two that i saw were the ones i mentioned ... we are processing your background check ( which is more of a generic statement i think )
although word 'progress' is more specific in terms of task based change ( that is particularly for background check )
thats my analysis ... also what i have noticed by following these forums is that whenever this change takes place means your background check started ... i hope its like that .. do comment if you can add more to the information

I know it used to happen earlier when IP stages were valid and when BGC changed from one IP to another so maybe its that and you managed to catch the change

I have a few questions cuz i got gcms notes today ..
They say my file was transferred on 18 march the day I received my SA and medical but i never got a file transfer email for that and last week the call centre rep said its still in sydney .
Secondly my rep put our wedding date as 17-11-2018 originally 17-10-2018 by mistake in IM 008 . So how can i update that ( if i can at all )

I am application of September 12,/2018-my file was also transferred to Rome VO on Jan.4th/2019, however Biometric request were sent to me and completed on May,27/2019. Usually Biometrics are requested in the beginning, any idea or input as to my situation????
