Even after having 6 years old marriage and all good circumstances application got refused. After refusal and knowing the reason of refusal by MP inquiry, i have applied again by justifying the reason of refusal.

I applied on 15th May, 2019 with upfront medical. Medical is updated and background check is in process.

It’s been a month today, i am worried because a lot of my classmates applied for their spouses and most of them got approval within 5 days, 10 days , maximum 15 days. CAN MORE DELAY BE A SIGN OF REJECTION ????? I’m so so worried. Please help.

Once again, it’s NEVER guaranteed one will get their spouse a OWP/TRV when they come to study in Canada . From reading posts people assume it’s guaranteed, it’s not .

There comes nothing with GUARANTEE in this world. Not only for SOWP, there is no guarantee for any other visa category also.

Maybe you didn’t get my question. I am just asking for the timeframe. As per my observation, i am seeing whoever is getting late decision, more likely to get negative decision. This can be my assumption. I want to clarify it. That’s it. I don’t see where I’m asking for any guarantees in my post.

I don't think that's a reason. 5 weeks is the current time frame. You will get the result this week for sure. I got it on 35th day, positive, a month back.
