hi.i have a multiple visa which was 3years and expires in January 2020 .can I travel back home and then back to Canada if my visa expires in 6 months . Is there any chance that officer will refuse me when I fly back to Canada

As long as the TRV is valid, you are fine.

Thank you ..but let’s say it’s 3 months before TRV /work permit expiration is there any chance that officer will refuse since he can think that I might not leave Canada after 3months?

There is always the possibility of refusal for every temporary resident, regardless of what documents you hold. You should have no issues.
