File received on April 1st.

What should I expect as a next step and how far am I from getting the PPR?

We only just received AOR1 today!
(Application was received on April 23rd)

Oh that makes me feel better haha. Our application was received April 25th and we're still waiting for AOR1. Fingers crossed it comes soon!!!!

Just wait and re-apply. They refused mine for the same reason.

BM request June 3 and done June 7
Medical done upfront
But till now we have not received SA, and can they transfer application to VO without SA?

around 4 months even I had strong reasons to stay there but they said you can not leave the country

why were medical's done upfront? did u get instructions by IRCC to do them. What is showing in ECAS on the sponsor side?

Nope no instructions from IRCC...just personal decision and medical is approved. I am the sponsor and it is showing decision made on ECAS (about a week) but I am yet to receive SA. BG of PA is also in progress.

Yes normally. But if you recall on one of the forms it states that if you have a recent/valid medical you should include documentation to that effect. So we kind of knew that if we did medicals ahead it may be acceptable considering there was a section on it in the form.
