Proof of Employer compliance fee

I have received the approval of PNP. International student with Job Offer.

With the letter of Approval I have also received the Work permit support letter R204-T13.

They say that when I extend my work permit, I will have to attach few things one of them is

Proof that employer has paid the employer compliance fee.

My current work permit is expiring in August 2020. however the processing time is 21 months. Thus, they have sent the support letter to support the application for work permit extension.

My question is: If I get my work permit extended, Is it going to be employer specific or I will be getting the same work permit (Open work permit) extended.

I am worried as if my work permit will not be open work permit, and I had to leave the job with corrent employer, I will not be able to work for no one else.

Hi,

Are you nominated under Employer Job Offer? Likewise, check your nomination letter it will state if it is Empoyer specific. If it does, then you cannot apply for Open Work Permit.

What if the company fires me and withdraw my application, What options I will have to apply as my application will then be withdrawn?

You must continue to demonstrate on a reasonable basis an intention to reside in
Ontario.
2. You must be employed in the approved employment position as of the date of your
nomination, if you are already working for the employer in the approved
employment position; or on the date you obtain a work permit and begin working in
the approved employment position.
This means that the conditions of employment must remain consistent with those
set out in the approved position, which includes, but is not limited to, your:
a. approved wage,
b. position and duties,
c. hours of work,
d. any other condition of employment included in the approval.

My current score is 437 with 6.5 bands.

When I came from India I had 7 bands. Thus I will re-do the Ielts. Also in this September, My experience will be 2YRS.
437+ 13= 450+ 10 marks if I improve my ielts.

Should I go for EE or PNP?

If i do PNP: It takes too long.
If I do EE: It wont let me include my husband because my score will drop.

Kindly advise the best.

all depend on your nomination letter if they say u can apply ee or not. 437 is lower than average score, yet ee usually required band 7 n above.

if u r running out of time for work permit, better do pnp since they offer a support letter but this will end up be lmia condition, a closed permit.

if u have time for ee then go ahead. but keep in mind u need aor to apply work extension.

so you can decide by ypurself.

If I just have to do EE for myself(without accompanying spouse) my score will be 455+ in September 2019. ps. I have Work permit until August 2020. Is that a good choice to wait until I am invited thru express entry?

The risk involved with PNP is, it is closed work permit. If they fire me, I will not have any other option to apply for the permit.


I got my pnp confirmation today. So Is it good to wait for a while to see if Express entry will take candidates with crs around 455

Not just that but you will NOT also be able to extend a work permit with 4 months or more validity.

does ECF(employer compliance fee) expires? my employer paid an ecf last year for my wp application but the application refused. i am planning to reapply again this year probably july. can i used that previous ECF or do the employer needs to pay for a new one?
