Guys, does the probability of rejection decrease when one's eligibility is passed?

It looks like I'm under SS, but my eligibility and criminality were passed without a single issue. I'm ready to wait for half a year or even more, I just want to be sure that I'm not gonna be rejected after a year of waiting.

Yes if your eligibility and Criminality is passed, then you're 99% approved :)

Security Screening is entirely different scenario and one's chances of rejection based on SS is very minimal.

You have an extensive travel history right?

You are almost there... Just a matter that the file is stuck-up at final clearance.

Your PPR can be with you any day.

If he is under SS then I believe the next movement from him should come around the 11th month. Most likely the big next update will be about medicals. They will probably assess whether to extend medicals or ask the applicant to re-do medicals.

If he gets request to re-do medicals then definitely PPR is confirmed in a matter of 2-3 weeks :)

Not sure if it's extensive enough, but there are about 15 trips during the last 10 years, many of them were around Schengen area.

Really hope there's nothing to worry about anymore.

Unfortunately, the file is not awaiting for the final clearance now. My security is in progress, so the office replies like "your file needs additional verifications". Based on many factors, I concluded that I'm probably under SS (I'll be able to confirm it as soon as I receive CBSA notes), so I'm prepared for waiting. I just wanted to know if there are still some risk factors regarding the documents I submitted.

That's probably why it's under SS

But still I don't understand how they select cases that go under SS since there are others with extensive travel history who got PPR within 6-7 months.

Hello, I applied Oct 2018, at the time there was no requirement on collecting biometric information. After 8 months, my application is still in progress, base on the GCMS notes, it seems like my application got stuck in background check. Will providing biometric info speed up the process? Where can I get the biometric collection letter?

I think in my case the combination of my nationality and occupation played a significant role, brother. Travel history was just the icing on the cake :)

You are correct!! This is exactly what the call centre agent told me yesterday.

If I was under Review Required or Security Screening then the office will not respond to enquiries like "case is pending final review by the officer" or "your application is in queue for review by the officer". Instead the standard response will be "your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications"

So if the office states the file is under queue then that means the officer is expecting to assess your case.

I was asked to do a remedical inspite of my medicals being valid till end of Sept. Anyway, I received a reply from cic that theybhave received my reporte. Waiting for some movement. The wait is really killing but the only thing we can do is wait.
