I received a message saying my PR application is refused as one of the company I worked with did not mention any job description which reduces my points below the threshold cut off.

I want to know what next steps I take.
1) can I ask them to reconsider asking the company to

You can give that a try but I doubt your application will be reopened due to previous posts on this platform similar to your situation. Mostly you will get a reply from CIC telling you reapplying and paying the fees again.

I would suggest you resubmit your application with the right reference letter with detailed duties just to save yourself some time.

you should know every details before launching your application. I am just wondering the one which is the most crucial , how you ignored that :O ??

It seems you need to re-apply again. But make sure you know all the requirement of an application before launching a new application.

do test and reapply with new test result... when did you submit to federal where your test result is expired?

will it works if you discuss with company on how to add description on the letter? some owner just want you to do it then they do themselves

When I checked it hasn’t expired,it has 2 weeks to expiry before I submitted,but my PNP nomination took a lot longer than expected.

u mean 2 weeks before it expired when submit to ircc? i think they will return the whole application you since they cancelled it. or did you call ircc for help ? such as redo a English test and send them an update later on?

Yes 2weeks before it expired I submitted, and I have not called IRCC for any help regards to redoing the English test, because I just received the email few hours now. But some people says maybe it’s becos of the time it took them to my review application,maybe by then the 2weeks has lapsed... maybe just maybe. Am so devastated right now. I need help before I ........

we are not the officer, we cant judge on what is going on and how the officer judge.
in this case, u have to be glad is is only a cancel or refused your application.
check ircc website and give them a call for guide.
based on m thoughts, i think better to redo now and reapply.

In that case, did you write a Letter of Explanation to IRCC, and provide any proof of this? Did you provide any alternative documentation of job duties & responsibilities?

It´s not that uncommon for employers to refuse to provide the details required by IRCC, but there is a process to follow to if you can´t give IRCC what they require.

Ya right. There is no way out from this now that the company has provided me with what I want in the letter ? I will have to start afresh with a new application?
