I went too and got refused but you can re-apply anytime unless they mentioned something on your refusal letter.
Just try to send a letter with proof of your emergency visit before you go.. they may accept it

@OUVERG1980, dont be scared everyone's case is different, just be honest and provide lots of proof if you have it. As long as you can provide the proof of divorce and show your relationship is genuine.

Hi everyone! We are sitting at 49 days since application received but no signs of an AOR1 yet. It seems as though everyone before and after us are all getting their AOR's so I'm stressing a bit...I tried linking with GCKey using Family Name and DOB but no luck. Does anyone have any advice on how to get a status update on our application?

Call IRCC and ask them about the status of your application referring sponsor’s name date of birth and Receipt number (Fees you paid). They’ll let you know if its being returned or if its waiting to be opened by the officer. You can also ask if they can provide you with a temporary application number but its at their discretion to give it if they can.

Permanent Residents are required to stay in the country throughout the processing of the application. Although not recommended especially at the beginning of the process, small 2 week vacations are fine but if the officer question’s PR’s intention to return, they can refuse the application.
Canadian Citizens can leave the country without issues. However, If they decide to live abroad for a longer time, they’ll be asked to provide proof of intention to return to Canada.

Until Sponsor Approval. But like I said. Advisable not to take a long trip out of the country at any given time.

How do I get back on the tracker? I was removed for some reason. I don't have anything to update but wanted to put my name on there again with received and AOR1 date.
