Yes, they do this because of streotypes. Why divorced person got married to unmarried, why wife is older than husband, why there was no big celebration? I don't understand why this has be to same for everyone. It is everyone's one choice. Really frustratingYes, in ecas it says: We sent a letter on June 11, 2019. Interview
Personally, I think the Red Flag thing is discriminatory and ridiculous (it's based on stereotypes and "cultural norms"), but yes. Previously divorced, with children. Canadian-born citizen divorced from a Canadian as well, but I guess that doesnt matter.
- You need to attend an interview. Check your messages below for details.
You're right, it is frustrating and also so upsetting that this country that is supposed to be open and multicultural would base their decisions on assuming that everyone from a specific country or culture is the same. Noone assumes that every Canadian is the same, so why would they think that everyone from India is the same?! It's infuriatingYes, they do this because of streotypes. I get your frustration and its true that a few rotten eggs have spoilt the whole basket but if they do not take these important steps to process, there can be serious implications to their decision. If the process becomes lenient, sham marriages will become the norm to have a better life in Canada. End of the day, its the citizens that would have to bear the brunt because its their tax paying money that funds lots of free services that would be going to undeserving marriage of convenience applicants. If you know your marriage is genuine, don’t stress and focus on the interview and you’ll cross that hurdle without problems.
