I was approved for my Nexus card this week. I'm an Indian citizen, Canadian PR, and I have a US B1/B2 visa which is valid till 2027.
I don't really travel all that much to the US, but I applied for Nexus because I get CATSA privileges, and when I do travel to the US from Canada, I will get TSA PreCheck for my domestic travel inside the US.
I was told at the interview that I also get Global Entry privileges, even though I'm not a Canadian citizen, and that I can use it at any US airport when I arrive from any country. This was news to me.
I know for a fact that I can use Global Entry at Canadian airports when flying to the US, but what about when I'm flying to the US from Europe or Asia?
Has anyone in a similar situation (Indian/visa-required country citizen, Canadian PR) used Global Entry when flying into the US from Europe or any country besides Canada? What was your experience? Does it work?
