Just saw on immitracker that a guy with July AOR was rejected 'cause of some incorrectly uploaded document...
It's ridiculous to refuse an applicant after making him wait 300 odd days. They could have at least given him an heads-up at least 3 months down the line.

My status has changed to 'you do not need medicals' as well. The change has happened after 3rd June 2019.
Does this mean it has been extended?

yeah VO is Ottawa. the change in status could also just be an automated thing. the date is not mentioned unlike how the others have mentioned on the forum, but definitely hoping that it has been extended :)

Hi,
My meds too expired on 7th June 2019. Today when I checked my status it has changed to you do not need medicals. We will let you know if this changes.
Recently, I spoke to a CIC member and they mentioned that not in all cases do they ask to do a medical again. But sometimes they may also extend it internally. So I am definitive that they have extended yours too.
I was just happy to see some movement on it after a long period of 288 days. To me that too is a positive at the moment.

I absolutely understand. i feel the same. the profile has been stagnant for so long, any change in the profile is welcome.
What is your AOR? Mine is 20 July 2018.

Close to you.. 24th July.
By waiting for so long and listening to the stories here I feel like July might have been an unlucky month for submitting my documents.
A friend of mine submitted his documents in October (AOR) yet he got his PPR before me.

I know these thoughts are wrong but they weirdly just pass by in your mind.

Did you receive an email stating that your profile has been updated and noticed the change or was it by random checking your CIC profile. Congratulations by the way.

I had called CIC and spoke to an agent a few days back. She mentioned that my medicals were received on 7th June. Since I have been following this forum since a long time now, I was aware that the status may change, so I checked my profile to see whether they have updated it or are they requesting new medicals. Hence, I got to know.

Congratulations on?

I have submitted my application through an agent hence I don't receive any direct email updates. Rather, I myself take initiative to check my profile on a regular basis and see if the CIC is asking or telling something.

AOR Received.
25-07-2018
Yup, I submitted my docs.. Hoping that those will be added soon and CIC will re-consider it..
Did you request another GCMS after submitting your doc? What does RR mean?
I had 3 notes after i submitted, and zero update at all. RR means review required, IRCC need to double check the reviewed item to make sure it meets their standard.

Hi,
I had my AOR on July 20, 2018.
The current status shows that my file is still being reviewed for eligibility.

I ordered GCMS on Jan 22, 2019 and came to know that there was a Review Required (RR) on one of the work experience for which I had submitted a self-declaration job reference letter (with other supporting documents) as I could not get it timely at the time of applying for AOR.
The GCMS note showed that criminality decision was cleared, medical was passed, proof of funds was cleared and all work experience cleared except RR for the above one.

I have recently submitted the job reference letter for this company in the desired format two weeks back via the cse webform.
CIC aknowledged last week that they have received the document and forwarded it to the concerned person.

Now my question is that could I do anything to bump progress on my application again, if they had left it static given the RR.

Should I order GCMS notes again or reach out to a MP or do anything else. Please advise.

Regular CSE do not reveal anything new than the information in the online status information.

Thanks

I congratulated for you at least getting a medical update whereas many people are still without an update.

Also, you got to know about your status by random checking your account which is good. Good luck.

I would suggest you to wait for now since you have submitted the letter in the desired format and now it's upto CIC to get back to you for further query.

Hi,

Quick update from me as well.
Medicals expiring tomorrow June 12th.
No news....i called them a couple weeks ago they told me all is fine and they might extend my medicals if they want to, if not I'll have to re take them.
Can't believe how long this is taking and I moved to Canada 7 months ago on work permit...

Wait and see
