When did u get ur confirmation letter stating that ur receipt has been forwarded to the agent

I hope it will come soon i have to be in canada for some important work i already have visitor visa
If you have a valid US visa, you can go and give your biometrics there too in the event you are in Canada and get your BIL then.
Thats the first I have heard. Usually you can give biometrics at any authorised place outside of Canada. US does not do it at VFS, they do it there at the Application Support Centre (ASC).

So my husbands name got fixed may 27 after that we haven’t received any email from cic with corrected name in biometrics letter which we received on May 15 . Today he went to India and gave his biometrics without any problem , but through the phone they were saying we are not gonna do it unless the name is fixed .

I have a question. My wife is in India and her Application was received on 04-Mar-19. Med done 20 Apr-19 with Bio-metrics done on 3rd May 2019. When I chcek GCkey, under the table, It shows medical passed on 21 Mar-19 but for bio-metrics it says we dont need your fingerprints. We ll let you know if it changes. Since Bio metrics was already done and her biometric details are updated in the profile information on the top of that page, that biometric done on 3rd May 2019.
My question is- is it same for everyone under the biometrics?
do any of you get email confirmation for the bio-metrics.
If so, What do you suggest me to do in this case?

It usually says completed for biometrics. As long as you can see the biometrics number at the bottom along with the validity of the biometrics (date) you’re fine.
I never received a confirmation letter. Other than the BIL, I haven't heard anything from IRCC in over a month actually.
The administrator who controls the spreadsheet intentially deletes all applications that undermine the average processing times. My data has been recently deleted because I did not recieve updates as fast as other applications. This makes the data unfair and scrutinized abd thus does not stand as fair representative of real processing times!
