Your next ghost update should precede PPR. When you receive your ghost update (Application/Profile Updated without anything inside changing), call IRCC to confirm your application has been approved. Your PPR email may take a few days.

Dear all i have a question and please guide me through! My aor is December 26
I applied gcms notes on april 16. My application was in ottawa till that time and the same date i.e. April 16 it was them transferred to London VO. I was recommended passed through the ottawa cpc office. My info sharing and security is pending. There has been no movement since then on the aor page login.... was the file transferred triggered on gcms notes? Or no? secondly once it has been now transferred what is the timeline i should be looking around?

My wife is the PA and my name or UCI is not mentioned anywhere on the email, but in the portal I am listed as dependent. Is this normal?

I just spoke to a really friendly agent - I almost always speak to them in French and since the call center is located in Montreal they're extra nice to me? - and he explained that because I have two PCCs on my application, this usually takes longer because they communicate with each country to authenticate the PCCs and ask further questions. I narrowly avoided having a third PCC, so I can't imagine the clusterf*ck that would create. And they definitely comb through your travel history for any red flags. Strangely, however, both my criminality and security have not yet started. And what should I do in case my application goes over the six-month mark? I should remain patient and wait...like I haven't been doing that already.

I really feel for these call center agents. You can sense they're also frustrated because IRCC has screwed them over with these huge delays, making them go over the same script with every caller ad infinitum.

I have tried calling using hangout and the link mentioned in your signature. Never works for me. Hangout asks for payment not sure why

There is an email address for the London VO, which someone here might be able to share, but I don't have it. You can raise a CSE or order a new set of GCMS notes to find out the status of your application. As you must have gathered already, about two-thirds (or more) of all December applications are going to exceed six months.

I don't have multiple PCCs. It's just for one country and two of us, me and my wife. I will try calling them tonight. Let's see what happens.

Yes, I have quizzed the agents about this a few times, and they are just as puzzled as I am. I don't know, it doesn't track with the sequence of how an application ought to be processed.

Oh is that so? Should definitely ask for French-speaking agents if I call someday if they are more friendly as you say.
All I know is that (I think) having both french and english documents in my application has delayed it: There was a huge "french document on file" written in caps in my GCMs notes and my file stayed in Ottawa because of that. People in my current residence country are getting their PPR and I'm stuck in Ottawa. I would have been alright if people in my home country (which I think I'm queued with) were getting their PPR but not a single one had it from Ottawa in a month! I really want to crack the code of IRCC working pattern just to satisfy my own curiosity. In another french forum of express entry, a member said something like: "I see that people who have the least complicated files are getting their PPR but if any file triggers questions, it's delayed." Well that's also what I noticed. Maybe it is because there are new officers recruited?

My criminality also passed shortly after MEP (maybe also the same week) and I had 4 PCCs! Info sharing was also complete ages ago 'cause I gave biometrics. It is my eligibility that was not started long after that (still have no idea if it has started and I'm a week away from 180days).

Oh and if anyone is interested, I found a nice report done in 2012 about a backlog IRCC were having in their applications with the former system: p.17 is quite satisfying to read. whoever reads it will understand. The report's title: CUTTING THE QUEUE: REDUCING CANADA’S IMMIGRATION BACKLOGS AND WAIT TIMES.
