Hello, everyone.

The expiry date of my study permit is May 31st. And I finished my courses on May 24th. Although I had urged the school many times, I got my final transcript and the completion letter on June 3rd, which is out of the expiration of my study permit. I submitted the application of the PGWP on the same date(Monday) followed my agent instruction, he thinks it may be fine because it is just 3 days later. Besides, he thinks the status should be student, the date is June 4th(I have no date to choose). In order to avoid the misrepresentation, I also submitted a Statement of the Situation Letter.

I am still very worried about it, so yesterday I called the service center, the lady said I don't have to withdraw my application, but I have to pay the extra $200 restoration fee immediately. Then, attached the proof of the payment in the Web form, which they will add it in my application later. So I just pay the $200 fee "restore as a visitor". And did what she suggested.

So, I am very upset now, I am not sure if I am doing the right thing or not. And about the restoration, can I just pay the fee like what I did or I have to submit the extra documents? Will they just refuse me directly?

Your agent is an idiot. You had no status and did not qualify for a PGWP. It didn't matter that it was only a few days late.

There is no guarantee that the $200 fee fee will be attached to your other app, so it may very well be refused.

Hi, thank you for replying.
So, what can I do now?
The link that the customer service sent to me and asked me to pay the restoration is http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp. And she said after I saw my application updated, call them again, and they can put a note on it.
Besides, why you said there is no guarantee that the fee will be attached to my application? On the Web form, I wrote my application number.
Thanks.

You could withdraw the PGWP app and resubmit requesting Restoration.

Can I get a refund,$455 that I already paid? How long it will take to withdraw my application?
I don't know which status I can choose in the find out if you're eligible to apply part.

You wouldn't need to be refunded. You would just use the same receipts.

It can take a few weeks.

I don't understand what you are asking.
