So , I called Cic for second time . This time officer was not so helpful in giving me the enough information . He started telling me “ you can get all the information on the ecas and gc key “ He was like we can’t give you info more than ecas and gc key . Officer told me my medical will be expired on june 6th and further he told me you might need to redo a medical or they might extend it but they didn’t took the decison for medical yet And He was like I can’t give you more info other than that . At the end he was like “ you are still in the average processing time “. so you don’t have to worry bout anything .

I got ghost update on 21st may...called CIC and agent told me the GU is for my medical extension...officer requested to extend my medical.

Did your medical extension aporoved?how many days for medical extension mine was extended today.

I had no clue as they told there is no notification on file for extension did you get ghost update too ? I am thinking this update is for that only

I had GU today and my medical change from pass to not needed at the moment. So i just guest they are extending my medical.how about you what is the status shown on your medical in gc key.thanks

Im sept 2017 applicant, still waiting for ppr,they said all is passed except my medical expired.

not sure about the nature of this ghost update, like whether it's redo medical, medical extension or security check, but finally somebody start to work on it. let's hope for the best, and good luck for everyone!

I got another update today, my medical extension got approved. In the gckey, now it shows i passed the exam on June 5, 2019 (it was June 4, 2018).
