Is Dre any possibility that my application gets reject on dis basis?
Where was your husband caught for Dui? Is he the sponsor or the principal applicant? Was the charge a summary conviction or an indictable conviction?

In any case since he is the sponsor, the application should be fine unless the officer decides otherwise. Canada deals with DUI offenders very seriously. If he is a canadian citizen they might let go with applicable charges but if he is a PR and is indicted and wants to apply for citizenship he will have a 5-10 year probation period before he can apply depending on the seriousness of the case. Do google DUI laws to know more about it. Its a serious threat and I hope he never does that again.

If they have asked for court papers they are definitely looking into the application stringently. I cant decide on the outcome for you its upto IRCC, but expect your processing to go beyond 12 months. Anything less is a boon. Your husband has most certainly increased the years it will take him to apply for citizenship though.

I already said since he’s the sponsor he should be fine. Only his citizenship may be affected. That’s the extent of my knowledge. Why they are asking for court papers I would not have a clue. You specified that CIC has not asked you for anything yet even though GCMS states court papers. Maybe at that time they deemed court papers necessary but not anymore. The reasons could be a lot. Have faith and be patient.

The design just looks different... it’s annoying really, because instead of hiring more cic agents to make processing faster, they’re investing into useless website design change..
God bless them!!!
I wish they had family members who applied or have gone through this horrible uncontrolled and super slow immigration system!!! I really wish!!!
Thats the only way they could understand our pain and helpless situation....
The only thing I can do... I pray.... God bless them... No hard feelings.... :(
