Our timeline.

We request from the Dominican Republic in paper through VFS, we both have a visa from the United States.

My father has traveled 3 times to the United States and I at least 6, also traveled to Canada in 2017 with visitor visa but expired in November 2018.

Date Received: May 15, 2019

• Visa application has been dispatched to OC from VAC: May 15, 2019
• Visa application has been received at the Canadia Visa Application Center Mexico OC: May 16, 2019
• Visa application is under process a the IRCC Office: May 23, 2019
• Correspondence letter of Biometrics: May 30, 2019
• Both Approved: May 31, 2019

Just received my mother's visa and I knew I had to post the profile details and timelines here for all the help I have been receiving silently from this forum. Hopefully this will help someone in the future -

Applied through a consultant who helped me and my wife for our Canadian PR. We received our PR and did our soft landing in early May 2019. Applied for my mother's visa in the third week of May. Her details -
She is 62 years old and been in the education field from the past 10 years after my dad passed away. She has been with the same employer ever since. We applied for a period of 2 weeks and provided the following -
1. Her payslips and employment leave letter from the employer
2. Bank Statements
3. Travel History - 1 week trips each to UK and Dubai
4. Our PR details
5. Sponsorship letter from us.
6. Our bank statements
7. Letter of Intent from her
8. Confirmed airtickets ( I know it's not recommended)
9. Travel Insurance

Timelines -
Applied Online - May 26
Biometrics done at VFS - May 27
Correspondence Letter - June 1
PPR - June 1
Passport submitted - June 3
Visa stamped - June 6 and hopefully we will receive the passport tomorrow.

Biometric enrollment: 25 may 2019 (got updated the same day)
Correspondence letter: 31 may 2019
No updates after that
Anyone else with similar timelines?
I have seen people getting passport request or decisions right after correspondence letter. I haven't heard anything after

Got the confirmation of submission of application on June 7. I haven’t go the biometric request yet.
Has anyone applied in the first week of June ? And received any updates ?
