Fun with Photos, or Photo Confusion?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering when it comes to photographic evidence for the relationship if they need to be printed photos with descriptions written on the back, or if I can take scanned original photos and place them in an MS Word doc, put descriptions underneath and have that printed and send with the application.

Has anyone done this or is this frowned upon? Not asking for a friend.
