Please suggest how long will it take for ppr request.

I have received Pri Arrival on March 2nd and i am still waiting for passport request. My application type is sponsorship spouse. How long it can take?
We have applied in the month of July 2018

Hey guys we are July 13th applicants, Mexico VO. Yesterday (May 29th 2019) they updated our background check to started or in progress finally. We also received pre arrival services letter.

We are also July 13th. We finally got file transferred from Mexico to Trinidad.

That’s good, but may I ask where do u get this info? And what this system update means for applicants??

IRCC Website when you click "sign in account", system updates from what I've seen and people have said on this forums is when they release a lot of updates on everyone's profile, again not everyone may get an update on their profile.

That's just the same as when you check your APPLICATION STATUS under your account using a GC KEY. They release updates in a very random, nonsensical and haphazard manner. I, for example, didn't receive my AOR1 for twenty weeks . Then there were 6 updates in 5 weeks and now nothing for 13 weeks. Who the f_____ knows how these people operate.

Okay. Thanks. That does make sense. But is that done on a strictly first come first served basis? And why are some cases resolved super quick and others go past the 12 months? I guess it has to do with the cases' complexity and the resources that they allocate to each VO.

Looking at the Tracker charts, my 20 weeks for AOR1 wins the prize. No rhyme or reason for it.

Yes some cases are resolved faster than others, it all depends on the country the applicant is from. Canada is very sensitive to some countries where they see a lot of fraud occurs or trend on a daily basis for example lets take LVO, alot of middle east countries goes through here and they take extra care & precaution, even though Canada accepts arrange marriages, they will still need a lot of convincing, require of evidence gathering, etc etc which takes time and time causes delays and backlogs. and someone here has a spreadsheet of applicants from LVO and you see the pattern, UK locals applying within to Canada gets approved way quicker than the ones applying outside. hope this kind of helps. Hey your 20 weeks AOR1 must have been just out of luck and got mixed up with a lot of applicants who also applied the same time.

This is true to an extent since if you see recent trends Indian applicants are being processed quicker too even though we do have arranged marriages. But a lot of them are processed in Mississauga so the ones still going to New Delhi Office go through the whole delayed processing. Its mostly all VO’s outside of Canada that are generally slow.

You're on the right track. But looking at the TRACKERS one sees plenty of spousal applications going through New Delhi that are done in fewer than 300 days. Just about every transaction in India involves a payoff so it does make me wonder.

Im generally speaking about countries with high volume trend of marriage frauds occur. If you visit the PAKISTAN LVO thread here, you will see constant questions regarding marriage, additional documents required, to provide more info, etc etc. It just shows how alot of agents are not fully convinced. Not all VO's outside of Canada are slow, I know of some that are consistent with 6-8 months tops. I've caught some people there asking if they can divorce once landed in CANADA, like WTF??
