For imm5768 Q 15, Q 16 and Q 17, Should I leave it Blank as I can't type N/A in Check mark box ?

I am not married and I am sponsoring my mother.

Ok I see now. There is only ONE difference between the 11-2018 version and the 06-2019 version:

The Sex field (Box #3) under Sponsor Personal Details section on page 1 is wider and includes X for Another Gender

Unless you would need to change your answer for that field, I'd leave it alone and not worry about it.

I'm in the same situation as you and I left 15, 16 and 17 blank. Didn't type N/A because I already answered No for 1A where it asked if my Spouse is co-signing.

@darkproc you are right about the last question to link the application.

1.Received by CIC on April 29th.
2. Ecas updated today, the status is "application received on April 29th".
3. Today linked the application to my account on canada.ca and got the application number and the status is " We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."

The trick is the last question that how many family members on the application. In my case: me , spouse ,one kid, father and mother. When I filled 2 or 5 then get nothing. I filled 3 to link the application finally.

If you open toda, it shows 02-2019 on bottom
But you sent 11-018 version?

You have no option. Both parents must be sponsored and pass the medical. You can list your father as non-accompanying.

Even if your dad doesnt want to come you have to sponsor both your parents initially.

It is part of the application process.

In any case you are welcome to apply just for your mother and leave your father out totally
And not have to pay for your father's application or biometrics too.

Nobody can force you to do what you dont want. It is not like an offence or sin not to follow the instructions from IRCC.
