The letter states the following:
The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is now complete. You must complete the following steps within 7 days in order for your Confirmation of Permanent Residence to be issued.
The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC) office responsible for issuing you a Confirmation of Permanent Residence will contact you shortly to arrange an appointment for your landing.

STEP 1: UPDATE YOUR APPLICATION
If any of the following conditions apply, you must inform us immediately via e-mail to: CIC-OTTAWA-IMMIGRATION@cic.gc.ca.
 Marriage or common-law union, divorce, annulment, legal separation;
 Death of the sponsor, the principal applicant or any accompanying family member;
 Birth or adoption of a child, including grandchildren born to dependent children;
 You, the principal applicant, or any of your family members have been charged or convicted of a criminal offence.

STEP 2: CONFIRM YOUR PLACE OF RESIDENCE
If you and all family members included in the application are in Canada, you are not required to submit your passports or apply for an authorization to enter the country. The IRCC office responsible for issuing your Confirmation of Permanent Residence will contact you to make an appointment to finalize your application. If you and/or your family members are NOT currently residing in Canada, you need to advise us of your current place of residence as this may impact the issuing procedures of your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and/or visa. Please advise us immediately by e-mail to: CIC-OTTAWA-IMMIGRATION@cic.gc.ca
***Please note that Confirmation of Permanent Residence and permanent residence visas cannot be issued to holders of Diplomatic, Official or Military passports. You must have an ordinary passport.***

i think you should wait for email for landing interview from cic
As per this email i found it reflects that your application is approved and if there is any change in your address or any other factor as mentioned in email then you should contact cic within 7 days otherwise you have to wait for next email
By reading some threads on these forums i came to know that for inland applicants waiting for landing interview is more then 6 weeks which is quiet hard
I am in similar situation too
Hope we will hear from cic soon
Good luck :)

I understand what you're saying and I agree somewhat but just because someone else has it worse than us doesn't mean our pain is non-existent.
Many of us have been waiting for months now, without any explanation or updates. We cannot plan for the future because we don't know where our future will be. I personally have rejected so many amazing job opportunities in the past few months because I cannot give them a commitment.

Just because there are people that cannot get an ITA doesn't mean that we who have been waiting for months, with no end in sight, cannot feel frustrated, sad, angry or hopeless.
Totally agree. The post was for people who tend to over-dramatize the situation. There is nothing special in this waiting. I said it many times and will repeat one more time: IRCC should simply remove the timeline and write something like "the normal processing time is 6-12 months". In this case, people will be happy to get PPR in 7 months, that's it. People who move to Australia pay much more money for the application and have to wait 11-20 months. We're all just spoilt by processing in 3-4 months of previous years IMHO :)

Nothing to worry,
If you are under eligibility review, this is normal and if you are in Security review then CSIS might be involved, which is again not a big point to worry.
What do you last gcms notes state?
Thanks a lot. I feel better. I haven't ordered my Gcms notes. Eligibility has been met. Last time I called, I was told I'll get a feedback in 1 month(June 22nd). An email was sent to me confirming this also. I'm really hoping for the best.

I completely agree. There's nothing quite like underpromising and overdelivering. If IRCC changed the 6 month timeline to, maybe, a 10 month one, they'll have a much easier time doing their job. Most people will get their PR's within 6 months. Those unlucky ones (like us), will stop haranguing IRCC, and wait patiently since there will still be 4 months left.

Smth like 3000+ AUD for each applicant. Also thought about Australia, applied to their program, passed PTE-A for 79+ (like IELTS 8 in each section) and going to get ITA in the beginning of August. However, I read more about Canada and decided that it'd better for me and my family to move there :)

True...
Things r literally troublesome when we have planned our lives as per IRCC's timelines... & even after reaching 9 months mark... We are no way near to the clear picture.

Actually, it doesn't really matter. Even if it takes several more months, what will it change for us? We both want to know about our future, I know. But after several years in Canada this problems with couple of extra months of waiting for PPR will be so funny, you and I will laugh at ourselves. Trust me, you will never believe that you used to be so impatient :)
Brother that is not really the point here. It's all part of the journey, I agree. But what about important life decisions that you are unable to make? Are you really going to keep putting you life on hold waiting for the PPR which has no definite date?

A few days ago, I read a case where parents withdrew their children from school and had everything planned to leave for Canada. Unfortunately the PR arrived after 9 months but a month ago, they had re-admitted their children into school and also paid admission fees. Now they have to be withdrawn again so they can do their landing in Canada sooner. They were not given extension or asked to re-take medicals. They were basically given 6 weeks to do their landing.

Anyways, the point isn't about waiting but waiting with a proper timeline so we can plan our future accordingly.

Way to expensive. It is better to spend this money for settling in Canada. Moreover, I've read about CANZUK initiative which might allow us, future citizens of canada, to travel free between these countries. :)

I think we can all agree that we wouldn't find this wait as painful if there was better communication and transparency from the IRCC side.
Being kept in the dark about our applications' statuses is energy sapping. We're like swimmers in an ocean, with no idea which direction land is in, or how close we are to land.

What was supposed to be the beginning of an exciting new journey in our lives has turned into a torturous wait, with no end in sight.

Technically, we've also been in their shoes. I was in ROH threads for 6 months with no Canadian hope. I consider myself to be grateful and lucky that I made it out if there.

Atleast there, you knew that once you get a particular score you will definitely make it. However, what guarantee do we have here that we will get PPR anytime soon?

I know we will eventually get it but when? 8 months, 10 months, 1 year, 2 years? So based on what are we suppose to make important life decisions?

I actually got EOI from Australia last year but rejected it after I got the ITA from Canada.

Regretting it slowly lol

At the end of the day your urge to go to Canada slowly fades.
