Hello, just about to do landing on the 13th of June. Applied through EE (FSW). If I don't really have much to worry about when it comes to things bringing in Canada and not even carrying more than 10K in CAD. Will a 4 hour layover in Vancouver be enough? Can you share your experiences? Thanks!

Enough for what? You'll land in Vancouver, and your landing process shouldn't take more than 45 - 60 minutes, depending on how busy it is. It might take a little longer, but a 4 hour delay would be very unusual. Toronto Pearson (which is busier than Vancouver) rarely takes longer than an hour.

Oh sorry should've been more clear. I always thought that when it's your first time entering Canada there would be some kind of a interview of some sort. But from the looks if it, 4 hours should be enough then. Thanks!

Yes, there is, but it doesn't (usually) take 4 hours! The actual interview is maybe 15-20 min, but you have to wait in line for a bit. If you're very unlucky and hundreds of people are landing for PR along with you.. it may take hours. But that would be very unusual.

It all depends on the circumstances, late arrival, terminal change, checkin, and of course, the queues for both Primary and Secondary inspections. Better to waste time looking around than panicking to get the next flight... Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

I wish I had 4h! We are landing in Halifax with 2,5h layover....with cats! It will be brutal:eek:
