I'm currently an undergraduate student graduating early next year. I plan to get a paid job around June so I can get that 1 year minimum work experience for Express Entry as fast as possible, and perhaps even reaching two or three years as I wait for an ITA. While I rack up that work experience, I plan to take a 15 unit, 1 year post-bachelors degree at an open university in my country so I can boost my CRS score. I am not sure whether to pursue this certificate though, as I am not sure if it will be credited by WES for me to be qualified for the "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be a program of three or more years."
My bachelor's degree is in Computer Science, a four year program. So I am sure it will be credited by WES. The post bachelor's certificate I am planing to pursue is a Graduate Certificate in ASEAN studies. As I said it is a 15 unit, 1 year course. I am not sure if it will qualify as a second educational attainment by WES, and I maybe i'm just gonna waste my time. The open university that offers it is in the WES database, and so is the ASEAN studies program. My question is, even though it's a one year program, is 15 units of post bachelor's acceptable by WES?
