New Work permit by Global talent stream (Implied status)

I'm in implied status under extension of my Open Work Permit based on Study permit of my wife. Our visa expired 10 days ago.

However, I have received an approved Global Talent stream letter (LMIA) and I need to apply for a new Work permit.

Therefore, when trying to apply online I've been asked about my current status, which is implied but there is no option like it to be selected, remaining only work permit and tourism, and when choosing work permit visa adding the expired date it keeps forwarding my application for restauration of status and I can't proceed with my application under implied.

I also, applied to a student permit for my wife in order to renew my work permit as well, my question is that should I wait for this process of Work permit extension attached to my wife's student permit before apply to my LMIA?

Does anyone have any idea?

First off all has you wife been accepted into a program for the fall that she intends attend? Your wife has implied status based on her new study permit application but don't believe you get the same implied status.

Yes, I applied to extend her visa (study permit) and my visa (open work permit) based on a new LOA from another school.
I confirmed that I'm in implied with the agent at border services. I went there and asked.
