Hello everyone,

Could someone educate me or point me to some resources that tell me, what are the implications of investment holdings/property/insurance policies etc., in India/ validity of PAN card/aadhar card/etc after obtaining Canadian citizenship?
Would really appreciate any insight on these.
Thanks

Tax residency and citizenship doesn't matter. You will have the same obligations as a Canadian tax resident to declare world income.

Thank you so much xylene, appreciate your reply.
Would you also know what happens to insurances like LIC etc that we have any back in India? Do we need to change anything? Also all those investments have an aadhar card linked to them.
I understand eventually applying for OCI might make it simple
