Open Work Permit Different Passport

Hello.
I have an Open Work Permit which is valid till Aug-2019 due my passport expires that month. I'm getting a new passport on July-2019 so my question is:
Should I apply for an extension with the new passport or should I start a new process since it's a new Passport?
I hope someone can guide me.
