Hi! I’m a newbie here. I just wanted ask for your help, please

My application for Canadaian citizenship was returned today May 22, 2019 but the cover letter date was May 15, 2019.

My application for Canadian Citizenship was returned
"Your application for Canadian Citizenship was considered incomplete and was not processed and fees were not taken, Your application and proof of payment are therefore returned to you for the following reasons:

You’re application was received more than 90 days after it was signed and dated. (Stale-dated)

You must complete a new form. DO NOT RESUBMIT THE ENCLOSED APPLICATION FORM AND ONLINE PHYSICAL PRESENCE CALCULATOR (printout from the internet) OR THE FORM HOW TO CALCULATE PHYSICAL PRESWNVE (CIT 0407). Your new form and physical presence calculator MUST BE RECEIVED IN OUR OFFICE WITHIN 90 Days of the days on which it is signed and dated. See section “Step 2- Complwte the Application” in the instruction guide.

If you choose to resubmit a complete application for a grant of citizenship, make sure you include:
•The completed application form submitted on a version of the application form dated October 2017 or later as indicated on the lower left corner of the form
•NOTE: the date of signature on the original application will still be used for physical presence calculations.
•All the required documents based on the checklist of the form for a grant Citizenship (CIT-0002) and
•The proof of payment

Note: if your application was returned for not having the required physical presence in Canada, you must complete a new application form with a new physical presence calsukator printout. The dates on the application form and physical calculator must be the same.

So what's your question? You submitted the application too late. You have to submit it so that it reaches before 90 days from the date you signed the application.

Resubmit a new application, and this time, don't wait so long to submit after you sign it.

Thank you for your reply. I saw the date I wrote it was 2018-03-18 but the correct date was 2019-03-18.. It that the only mistake I did?

Impossible for me to tell you if there are other errors.. you should carefully double check your new application, and if English is your second language maybe you can get a friend to help.

This refusal isn't a big deal, you'll still get citizenship if you qualify, so don't worry about it. Just submit a correct application next time, and get some help if you need it.

No, you don't have to submit a new physical presence calculation, you can use the current one.

Just resubmit again. You would need a new physical presence calculation as you would be signing the application in May 2019 now.

Two more questions please.. Should I just copy what’s in my physical presence calculator or need to revise it as well aside to the date that will be sign today May 22, 2019?

Its better you get a new physical presence calculation to match the new application sign in date.

Yes, you should resubmit all the required document with the new application.

I don't think they reviewed your calculations. It's impossible for us to tell if there are other errors, unfortunately.
