As I have sent my application this year on May 14. I haven't contacted my mp this year though. She sent me a courtesy email today as she knows I have been waiting from last two years to get selected in the lottery to apply. And she did told me in October last year she will follow up and let me know what the new process for pgp would look like. And after that she emailed me today.

Very strange that her office did this unsolicited. You must have contacted them numerous times in the past years.

Phone extension doesn't fit in that column, it only takes 10 digits. I need to add 14 digits for HR or supervisor direct line else it ll get into main line only with first 10 digits.

Few questions for the Financial Evaluation Form IMM5768 -

Background - I am sponsoring my Mom and Dad - 2 people, I am married and with 1 kid who was born in Canada. My wife is not a co-signer.
1. Question # 3 B - Do I need to type 1 for my Wife since I sponsored her to come to Canada from India?
2. If yes, to number 3 then I should provide the details of my wife in question number 9? Is that correct?
3. Question # 11 - Do I still mention my wife name again if I have mentioned in question number 9?
4. If my wife is on Maternity leave - should I select Unemployed for Question 15 and in the blank space, mention she is currently on Matt leave and receiving EI benefits? Or Do I need to select any other option for Question 15?

Nobody knows. For some people it takes 2 years for some it takes less.

Hi Friends,

Don't worry and don't panic for ECASE issue, I sent my package on April 30th and IRCC received that by May2nd. ( according to Canada Post signature ). Still nothing on ECASE either with my UCI and my parents .
I was worried as a lot of message referring to ECASE issues. Today I called IRCC agent and have a comprehensive discussion with her regarding this matter.
first of all she mentioned that they received a thousand of calls regarding this issue and she was just wondering why we are so worried abt that.
She was very nice and tried to look up the application with my UCI .
She confirmed that IRCC received the application on May 2nd.
She gave me temporary file number.
she told me temporary file number means they just opened the envelope and take the document and nothing else.
she told me it may take up to 3 month to AOR .
and you will get ECASE updated when you receive the AOR .
So lets hope for the best and don't worry.
there is thousand of application arrived and as she told me even the opening of thousands of envelope may take month for them.
so just be patient and don't worry.

WHAT SHOULD I PUT UNDER DATES?

Zero education? If so, here's how I would fill Schedule A out:

1. Enter 0 (zero) in each box in Section 5.
2. In the From field, enter your mother's birth year and birth month.
3. In the To field, enter 2019 and 05 (or 06, if you're signing in June)
4. In the remaining required fields (those marked with a '*', enter "N/A").
5. Select the city and country where your mother is currently living.
6. In an explanation letter (cover letter), explain the fact that your mother has zero education.

If she has had any education at all, e.g. reading/ writing somewhere, make sure you provide that info instead of entering zero all throughout.
