Where do I put the barcodes for the forms that has it?

1. Do I need to put them infront of the application form and follow the document checklist arrangement?
OR
2. Do I need to separate the barcode from the form and put infront of the line behind the document checklist?

did you not even write the name and date of birth ? If you wrote that, you are fine. Signature isnt required. Handwritten name and date of birth is asked.

Hi, My file reached there on Apr 30 and still waiting for any update on ECAS or mail but nothing yet. I was worried if they have received my package or not as some people send in May and have already able to check the status on the ECAS.

Here is your answer.

So I called the IRCC customer service (1-888-242-2100) and they were able to confirm that they have received my package and it is not yet assigned any file number. Call center agent told me that this state of the file they call "prospective file". Not sure what that means but at least they were able to identify me and my package.

you can try the same option to find out if they have received the package.

Hi there! I have two questions regarding the forms for parents sponsorship :

1)Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] form is basically for any additional dependats other than you parents right? In my case its just my father and mother so I need not fill this one, am I right?
2)In one of the forms they ask if your parents have held any government positions/ civil service postions. My father used to work in the Indian railways very long ago(more than 25 years ago). Does that come under that category and needs to be mentioned?

Thanks in advance! I don't want to make any mistakes in my forms so thought its better to double check.

What does the principal applicant do?
At this stage, the principal applicant must:

• Sign the Application to sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344)
• Complete and sign the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) and the Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) and include your accompanying and non-accompanying dependents on one form
• Complete the Additional Dependents/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) if more than five accompanying or non-accompanying family members exist
• Complete and sign the Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) with a handwritten signature
• Complete the Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)
• If applicable, complete and sign the Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM 5409)
• If applicable, complete and sign the Use of a representative (IMM 5476)

IMM 0008DEP -- Is only require if PRINCIPAL APPLICANT has more than 5 dependent

For the parents who is in india now, how to get the sign in papers from them? just scan and send that page alone to them and they take print and sign and ive it back to us? is it a good approach? please guide me

I have a situation :

My parents got their tourist visa last year and while filling their forms for tourist visa, I didn't mention my dad's government job ( and specifically marked check box as NO because at that time I thought it was asking about positions such as jugdge, civil servant etc whatever was mentioned as example and yes, I made this stupid mistake then).

Now that I am filling their PGP application, I have similar question again and now I am thinking what should I do? Should I mention the government position or keep the consistency with tourist visa application???

What bad can happen if I mention the govt job now? Does they require extra security clearance or something?

Can someone help me in this ????? I ll really appreciate.

Try early morning and use the options for work permit and study permit
