How to verify that application reached and started processing, I went to ECAS site but it is asking client id or any other records, as I am applying for my parents first time and they never had any record of application for canada before?

Please advise!

Did you not pay for tracking? If so you know your package has arrived. It can take a month to see on ECAS. They are processing so many applications at one time. It takes time.

In form 5768 , what family size did you put against each year income .
My final family unit including parents is 5 . And baby born in 2017 .

I put 2 (my husband and I) because that is the family size in the years 2016, 2017, and 2018.
if they accept our application and give my parents PR, then our family size in years 2020 and on will be 5

As the guide instructs, put "Not Applicable" where a data point is not applicable. Obviously to be safe, explain it in a cover letter.

This is new. Previously they returned applications without signatures from the person in pen.

and that's exactly why i think the app should be sent to the parents and couriered back with original signatures as well as pictures.

ppl are now getting digital file, printing them at london drugs and writing the studio's info from back home on the back of the photo. defeats the whole purpose of having the studio taking the photo making sure the photo is not altered and bla bla bla.

im just grateful that my mom is here and i am sending everything original. curious to see if ppl who sent scanned copies and photos printed in a different studio than the one where the photo was taken will get the app returned...

Same person signed my package

majority of ppl who sent app using Canada Post got the same signature

This is why there will be another FIFO.

Many wont apply. Many who apply will get rejected because of no pen signature, improper photos etc.

Is it so difficult to follow instructions?

Is it so expensive to courier documents in 2019?

Oh well....you reap what you sow.

which form are u talking about?
if it is imm0008 and ur siblings are over 22 then no need to add them.
if u are talking about the imm5406 then yes, they should all be listed. use an extra sheet if u need more space.

My question was specific to imm0008. So you are saying if principal applicant's (my father in case) children's are over 22 then they should not be considered as dependent in imm0008?

Regarding imm5406 .. it says "The principal applicant, their spouse or common law partner (if applicable) and all dependent children 18 years of age and older must complete must complete their own copy of this form" In this case, I am sponsoring my parents .. so, my father is the principal applicant and my mother will accompany him. All of my brother sisters are over 22 and not dependent on my parents. Who should fill this form? just my father and mother or all of my brother and sisters?

correct, if his children are over 22 they are not dependents

again, if they are over 22, they are not dependents. ur dad needs one schedule a and ur mom (listed as ur father dependent on imm008) needs one schedule a. and that's it
