wait, 80% of Nov applicants haven't got PPR? And by Nov 1st week guys like you, 6 month ended by this month 1st week right? They have taken more than 6 month now!
And I see there are a lot of new comers or probably silent observers that just log in to tell us they got PPR with Nov 29,30 etc as AOR date :(
I am hoping so much that we will know tomorrow. At least for us, its just 1 week gone. But hopefully for some of you Nov 1st week, they have to issue the PPRs.
@SithLord

The processing of applicants starting January 2019 will be faster due to the new biometrics, which speeds up the security.

Also the delays are at the LVO, were the applications keep sitting after the eligibility by an analyst is passed.

The new norm seems to be 7-8 months.

Agent told me my file was moved to NDVO in April but no update since Dec MEP. AOR 17th Nov.

6 months got over on May 17th.

Decided not to chase ircc or raise webform or GC notes.

If I get I get ... if not will do something else worthwhile ..... let IRCC come back whenever they want to ...
Same Aor.. No update since the medicals.. Getting anxious about the whole thing

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with everything in this message but the last paragraph. My AOR is November 1st, I submitted biometrics, since I'm from the biometrics required country, my file is processed by Ottawa visa office. So you can see that LVO or biometrics has nothing to do with the delays (my application is at the eligibility check stage).
My best guess is that IRCC is hugely understaffed to deal with the amount of applications they get, hence the delays.

Assuming, but not conceding to your statement, if this was true, then the some applications from January 2019, and even March 2019 would not have received PPR. IRCC is understaffed, and some LVOs are more affected than others. London, Montreal, NDVO are glaring examples.

Also, each application is processed based on the documents, the complexity it poses. IRCC claims that 80% applications are processed within 6 months.

The 6 month processing time starts from the day the R10 is met and not the AoR. So start the 6 months processing from the R10 date.
