Is there any voice or video record during the interview?

Hello Everyone:

My spouse had the interview on April and it was refused. As sponsor, I have already submitted the appeal.
I have received the GCMS note yesterday and found that at least half of the note was not truth.
For example, the officer wrote that she asked my spouse that whether he know my previous job, earning, address in Canada. My spouse answered "Sorry, I only have little info about it." My spouse said she never aked questions about my background.
Furthermore, she wrote she asked what was our plan after moving to Canada. And my spouse answered we didn't talk about that. So ridiculous.
At the end of the note she said she was not satisfied because my spouse had great difficulty to tell my background, limited knowledge about my family and etc.
Even in the interview, my spouse mentioned two times that if you have any concerns with our relationship and these evidence cannot satisfied you, you can ask me any detailed question about our relationship. She never asked.
I am so frustrated. Because you asked us to be honest and truthful during the application, but your officer cannot even write what exactly happened in the interview?
So in the appeal can we apply to get the voice or video record?
Thanks everyone.

Based on what you wrote here it sounds like your spouse was unable to sufficiently answer basic questions. Asking about your previous job and answering "I only have a little information about it" and not being able to articulate any plan after moving to Canada are not solid responses whatsoever and based on this limited information you've given it's not that surprising there was a refusal. In addition if you spouse had difficulty talking about your background and family, it's unsurprising flags would be raised.

Understandably there would have been a lot more information sharing in the interview that you have not put here but the 2 examples you gave do not demonstrate solid responses.

Hello

The question is the office never asked this question to my spouse but she wrote on the file that she asked the question. And the answer is the office wrote as well. If she asked this question to my spouse, my spouse can definitely answer it.
I think you didn't get my point. Half of note is the office's lie.

So are you saying that:

For example, the officer wrote that she asked my spouse that whether he know my previous job, earning, address in Canada. My spouse answered "Sorry, I only have little info about it." My spouse said she never aked questions about my background. << This was written down in the post interview notes but according to your spouse never actually happened? Just to clarify what you mean.

Never heard of video or voice recording of interviews.

The interviewer would have certainly asked about your background, job etc. It sounds like your spouse either didn't know or didn't understand.

The OP is saying those questions were not asked by the visa officer, and that their inclusion in the notes is a surprise as the OP believes it did not happen.

You get my point.
The officer never asked these questions. But put it on the note and said my spouse cannot answer.

To be frank with you I find it very hard to believe the officer never asked those questions. I too have never heard of a recording or video. If this is actually the case I am sorry to hear that but I would be exceptionally surprised if the officer never asked some of the most rudimentary and basic questions as part of the interview. Not sure that there's much to be done beyond appealing as you already have.

She never asked these to my spouse.
These question and answer is an example that how she wrote something never happened in the interview to the note.
That's the reason I want to see whether we have chance to get a video or voice record to proof the office is a liar.

While I understand what you are saying, those are the most basic questions asked in a relationship interview. I would find it hard to believe that they were not asked.

One of the most basic purposes of the interview is finding out how much the applicant knows about their sponsor. It is almost guaranteed that he was asked these kinds of questions.

Yes. But the fact is she never asked in the interview.
When my spouse came out I asked him about it.
She never asked and was struggling with our timeline. My spouse spend 1.5 hrs help her to organize the timeline.

I know. So we prepared very well about everything.
But the truth is she never asked in the interview but put it on the note.
That's make us feel angry.

In any event, I am not aware of voice or video recordings. You will have to make your appeal without the benefit of any of that.

In case there is, though - are you absolutely, one hundred percent confident these questions were never asked? In case the officer comes back and says, I did ask them here is what your spouse said?

A thousand percent sure about it or more than thousand percent.
