Definitely there will be another round of invitations...
Because there are so many people who got invitation to apply but they are falling short of income..
and some have miscalculated family size or the documents issues etc.
If you are regularly watching these threads you yourself can see...

You have to factor in that some EOIs will be applying for 2 divorced parents so that is 2 application plus there are around 6500 extra applications. Tend to think there won't be another draw although in an election year you never know.

Hate to see what will happen when they have to wait over 6 months for s doctor's appointment. Most Canadians are used to waiting for lots of things and most make a phone call just to make sure that their application is still being processed and then continue waiting. No point stressing out or wasting your time on hold when nothing will actually change.

I received the invitation to submit the sponsorship application for my parents. I was wondering if there is any impact on the application I will submit for the following situation:

My parents received their permanent resident status in 2005 and didn't manage to stay for 2 years in Canada within the 5 year period ending in 2010. Therefore, my parents lost their permanent residence status.

Also, is the Biometrics required on the submission of the sponsorship application or should I wait until I receive a letter from CIC providing that we need to complete Biometrics?

Please advise.

FORM imm5406 asks us to write in native language but if my native language follow alphabetical, do I need to submit an additional version? For example, Vietnamese and Tagalog are both written by alphabetical.

As long as you submit before the deadline you are good.

My file isn’t ready yet, I am waiting for my mom to courier me the forms sometime this week.

Hi, My file reached there on Apr 30 and still waiting for any update on ECAS or mail but nothing yet. I was worried if they have received my package or not as some people send in May and have already able to check the status on the ECAS.

Here is your answer.

So I called the IRCC customer service (1-888-242-2100) and they were able to confirm that they have received my package and it is not yet assigned any file number. Call center agent told me that this state of the file they call "prospective file". Not sure what that means but at least they were able to identify me and my package.

you can try the same option to find out if they have received the package.

Hello all .
Sponsoring both my parents for 2019 and had some ( silly) questions .
1) They ask that dependants >18 of parents fill in their own form - does that mean my brother ( who is 40 and lives in Europe ) has to fill in a form as well? ?
I am not sponsoring him and he has no plans to move to Canada .

2) The background asks for details of their parents / family many of whom are deceased -dates( birth and death ) unknown - how do we fill that ?

Don't believe you can count chid tax benefit as income.

Yes you can way back in 2016 but not in 2017 and 2018

I have my mother passport on which there is Multiple entry V-1 visa stamp. There is a Document number starting with E*.

Is the document number same as UCI?

how/where to find application number?
